Choosing Growth

$1,500.00

Feeling like I can’t stand myself is probably one of the worst feelings I’ve ever felt.

It wasn’t until I made major changes in my life that things started to change for the better. I allowed myself the silence to understand where the pain was coming from, and I learned the hard way that you have to go through the feelings and not around it.

I owe a lot to the self help books, the inspirational videos, podcasts,the patient phone calls, and all the ted talks. Because when I felt like I couldn’t talk to anyone about what was going on with me somehow these stories gave me the hope I needed.

This piece is about stages. The stage of pain, confusion, and the seeking of help, which then lead me to understanding, redefining, and finding peace.

This is an ongoing journey and understanding. That when there is pain there is an opportunity to take responsibility for your growth.

Materials: Acrylic

Size: 48” x 24”

* Note * Diptych Piece
