Just Get it Out

$500.00
Sold Out

Many times when I’m drawn to the canvas it feels like a version of myself wants to sit me down and have a serious and uninterrupted conversation. During these conversations I pose my most honest questions, beg for answers, and seek advice. After a lot of honesty, answers start coming. I then remember the importance of making space for all emotions and getting it out.

P.S. I didn’t make this piece to show to anyone. I was pretty lost when I first started it.

Almost a year post creation I had the opportunity to expose the piece at my first art fair. So I chose to be brave and display it after all. Throughout the day I received several offers and comments such as “thank you for sharing” and “thank you for doing what you do”.

All I did was share my truth.

That experience gave me a real understanding of what it meant to be vulnerable and how powerful it can be in connecting us.

Materials: Collage, Acrylic, Ink

Size: 36” x 24”
