"Con-tempo" This piece represents inner contact as the figure is being liberated from her thoughts and past. The background of the piece is a combination of lyrics in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, in reference to memory, lessons, and inner-conflict. In contrast with more obvious forms of contact, I found it especially important to recognize the importance of contact within -- specifically, depending on oneself instead of basing your emotions on another individual.
